We believe that it should be easy to embed and use existing geodata. That's why we want to push the availability of geodata in the areas of crisis and environmental management. Therefore we are going to make certain open datasets available as WFS services.

The data itself is not in our ownership, we just add the OGC services as a convience around it. This should make access and use in GIS applications as easy as possible, because many data providers do not offer OGC service interfaces themselves. You can also tell us about datasets that you think should be available as well.
